NetLibrary…I created my account and conducted some searches on books and authors I’ve recently read. To my surprise, I only found one title by Kaye Gibbons–Divining Women, one I haven’t read. Lots of Lee Smith listed, but alas, only one Kaye Gibbons. What would Ellen Foster say about that?

That’s an author I’ve been meaning to read – I even have a couple of her books on my shelf. Which would you suggest starting with?
I suggest starting with ‘A Cure For Dreams’ or ‘A Viruous Woman.’ I wouldn’t suggest starting with ‘Ellen Foster,’ though it is her most popular book. The character of Ellen Foster (though so strong and memorable and ultimately a Southern “classic”) floods the book so completely (if that is possible?).
fkE9yh I’m not eailsy impressed. . . but that’s impressing me!
